Who We Are

We are a training studio in Lindfield with a passion for helping & supporting clients to achieve their goals and learn to love exercise and make leading a healthy lifestyle achievable. We offer 3 types of training sessions; Semi private (4 people), Small group (8-10 People), Large groups (15-20 people).

All sessions at PPT are lead by one of our coaches in order to ensure you are getting the most out of your training, educating you on good technique and form to keep you safe and maximise each and every movement and to hold you accountable. Our team of coaches marry the science of training with the art of coaching to enable you to get the most out each and every session, enjoy your time at PPT so you look forward to coming to the gym and stick to it to make sure you maintain your awesome results.

Who We Help

Our clients are all ages, all fitness abilities, all shapes and sizes but they all support each other with the same commitment of making progress towards achieving their goal whilst providing added accountability and enjoyment to their experience at PPT. There is no pre requisite fitness level needed to be able to start your journey with PPT, (just about to hit you with a big cheesy cliche)​ it doesn’t matter where you start, all that matters is that you start.

It doesn’t matter If you have tried gyms before and they’re not for you, we pride ourselves on being able to provide our clients with a programme that is flexible enough to fit your busy lifestyle whilst getting you the results you deserve.

My Story

In 2008 I was 21 years old weighing in at 17 stone. I was an unemployed single mum to 12 week old Joey and I felt like I had no control over my life or the life I could offer to him.

Reluctantly I joined the gym and began a pretty lonely and some what boring gym programme, the only thing initially keeping me going was the little break I got from being a full time mum.

I was just going through the motions in the gym, following the same programme that the disinterested gym worker had set for me on the day I signed up. Nobody checked in on me, nobody would have noticed if I wasn’t there.

Then one day in the gym a member of staff approached me, struck up a conversation about my training progress and asked if he could help. Through the help and support of this trainer the weight fell off me and a passion started to grow for exercise.

In June 2009 I had lost over 6 stone and felt incredible. I decided to become a personal trainer,I wanted to help other people to achieve what I had.

If that trainer hadn’t approached me and treated me as more than just a number, then I may never have achieved my goal. It would have been easy to just disappear into the background. I wanted to provide a place for people similar to me, who aren’t comfortable in a gym environment and need the support of a coach.

By 2012 Potential was born and in 2014 we opened the doors to our studio in Lindfield.

I now have a team of 6 incredible coaches who help me to serve our 350 – strong client base. The community that we have created is incredible and it doesn’t just stop at exercise classes. We enjoy Quiz nights, Meals out, Fitness Challenges, a summer party, group holidays and so much more!

I am so proud of the community we have created and the hundreds of people that we have helped to achieve their health and fitness goals and therefore improve their life.
